Although this project aimed mainly at the life of children during the Second World War, it was very useful first to learn about the war context. All three countries - France, Czechoslovakia (precisely Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia) and Greece - were heavily afflicted by the war and a lot of problems the people had to face were similar or the same (e.g. rationing or bombing and shelters), but there were also some particularities.
