New entries in Anne´s diary

After we read extracts from Anne Frank's diary and watched clips from the movie, students got into her shoes and wrote a diary page of their own. The French students created a wonderful book (see below) and the Greek students wrote a few entries in the twinspace.

Some of the Greek students´s entries -  March 2013

My dear Diary

I am so sad. The war is getting worse..We are all scared and we have no food to eat, we are starving! I want so much to go to school but I can’t. I have only one friend but we rarely meet each other. I wish the war stopped but this seems too difficult. I want to make new friends, find more food and live normally my life..

My dear Diary

These days are very difficult. We can’t do out and we stay at home all day. All mothers protect their children and they don’t allow them to go to school. My parents can’t go to work and all shops are closed..

My dear diary

I haven’t written for a long time, I’m sorry..as you know we are at war. Me and my family have a hard time. I am hungry but I don’t tell my parents because the food is very little. I’ m scared, the enemy is everywhere. Some nights I cry because I am afraid of losing a relative or even my life. We must hide otherwise they may take us to a camp. It may be the last time I am writing and I want to make sure that I have revealed all my secrets.

I love you..goodnight!!

My dear diary

Another day has ended..Our houses are often bombarded. Food is not enough because most of our supplies are stolen by the soldiers. We are not allowed to go wherever we want and if someone is caught out late at night, he or she might get killed. I am terrified!! Everyday I see people dying out on the streets because of starvation or because they resisted. It is a nightmare. I hope it is over soon..
